AB InBev, the world’s largest brewer, sold less beer and other beverages last year, according to its annual results reported on Thursday.
The Belgian-Brazilian company sold 484.2 million litres of beer in 2025, a 2.6 per cent decrease compared with the previous year. Sales of non-beer beverages totalled 77 million litres, down 0.4 per cent. In the final three months of the year, total volumes fell 1.5 per cent, a smaller decline than analysts had anticipated.
The brewer reported revenue of 59.3 billion USD, down 0.8 per cent, largely due to unfavourable exchange rates. EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation) reached 21.2 billion USD, while net profit was 6.8 billion USD, up from 5.9 billion USD a year earlier.
Despite the decline in volumes, AB InBev reported strong financial performance. “Our momentum improved in many of our key markets in the fourth quarter of 2025, and we start 2026 well-positioned to reach consumers and accelerate our growth,” the company said.
